During the first quarter of the year, we have been able to provide free education for 20 girls and saved them from dropping out of school especially with Covid-19 putting them at risk of dropping out. And also enrolled five (5) more girls giving them the chance at succeeding in life. Now we are presently feeding and housing 25 girls daily.
We rounded up our Cloth Drive campaign in February by clothing over a 100 grateful people at the Elepe community in Ikorodu, lagos Nigeria.
We are also happy to report that our girls went out and made us proud by competing and winning the #iamtheone dance competition. The proceeds from the competition helped them feed for a while.
We had to save the best for the last. We are building a school! We began building our Art academy for girls and presently we at the 6th stage of building. The new Art academy will provide opportunities for 100 girls to attend a free educational and performing Arts school and also to learn real life skills through Art (drama, dance and music) while providing hostels which will serve as sanctuary and living space for the girls to enable them become real life changers and trail blazers in their community.
We are excited about the progress we’ve made in giving kids a new lease on life and we are more determined than ever to complete our projects but we can’t do it without your support. Please consider making a donation and also helping us to advocate to as many people as you can to help us reach our goal.
Let’s make a difference together. Thank you very much once again for everything you have done for us. You’re the real HEROS.
